The long-awaited (and long-delayed) rock-influenced album from Lil Wayne has been pushed back yet again to Feb. 1, around the time that he’ll be sentenced for ATTEMPTED GUN POSSESSION CHARGES. Rebirth, the follow-up to the triple platinum Tha Carter III was initially set to be released April 7th of this year, but Wayne’s label hasn’t found a hit with any of the tracks that have leaked.
Wayne has stated that Tha Carter IV is scheduled to be released next year, but he didn’t want it to immediately follow Tha Carter III. It may have to, though, because it looks like Rebirth may never see the light of day.
